Information Photonics 2011 Ottawa

I am glad to let you know that our First Call for Papers is now ready to be send out. We would greatly appreciate if you could help disseminating the Call using your networks, but also posting it at your institutions or dropping some pamphlets at the conferences you would be attending in the  future. At the same time, I would like to encourage you to consider contributing a paper to our venue, and kindly encourage your team members, colleagues or students to participate.

The manuscript (2 pages) and abstract (50 words) submission deadline is December 15, 2010, as it is announced in the Call and at our web site http://www.IP2011.org.

I would also like to inform you that the International Commission for Optics has decided to change our venue denomination to 'International Conference' (instead of 'International Topical Meeting'). I believe this is a recognition of our team work up to this point, the ability to attract numerous leading experts in different fields of photonics, conference organization and logistics, etc. I would like to thank to all of you for your valuable work and help.

Also please be advised that our website has been moved from the temporary site to its final location: http://www.IP2011.org. Having this opportunity, I would like to thank our INRS colleagues, and specially Marco, for their help with setting-up, hosting and maintaining our temporary site.
